Who we are
Polymade is a content-repurposing subscription service operated by Inverto Pty Ltd (ABN 90 651 108 566), a company registered in Australia. In this policy, "we", "us", and "Polymade" refer to Inverto Pty Ltd trading as Polymade.
What we collect
We collect only what's needed to run the service:
- Your email address, required to request a free pack, subscribe to a plan, or receive delivered content and account emails.
- Your source content: the podcast RSS feed URL or YouTube URL you give us, and the audio/transcript we pull from it in order to produce your pack.
- Account and usage data: your subscription plan, how many sources and episodes you've used this month, and the status of each job. We use this to enforce plan limits (e.g. Starter's monthly episode cap) and to know what to deliver and when.
We do not collect or store your payment card details ourselves. Checkout and billing are handled entirely by Stripe, so your card number never reaches Polymade's own systems.
How we use it
- To transcribe, produce, quality-check, and deliver your content pack.
- To operate your subscription: checkout, billing, plan changes, and cancellation via Stripe's Customer Portal.
- To respond when you contact us for support.
- To maintain internal records of usage and service costs per job. These records are used for business administration only and are not shared outside Polymade.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information to anyone, under any circumstances. We do use a small number of trusted service providers to deliver the product:
- Stripe processes your payment and manages your subscription billing. Stripe sees your payment details; Polymade does not.
- Resend sends transactional email on our behalf: delivering your content pack and account-related notifications.
- Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, and Moonshot AI (Kimi) are the model providers whose models produce and quality-check your pack. Your submitted source content (including audio transcripts) is transmitted to one or more of these providers as part of producing your pack. Each provider processes this data under its own data-handling terms.
We don't otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except where required by law.
If you're on the receiving end of our own outreach
Separately from the product above, Polymade also does its own outbound outreach to podcast/webinar hosts who might be a good fit for the service. If you received an email from us this way:
- We check every recipient's jurisdiction before sending. Addresses in the EU or UK are excluded from our outreach lists entirely, and we do not send to them.
- For everyone else, we follow the recipient-based rules that apply: the Australian Spam Act and, for US recipients, CAN-SPAM.
- If you ask to be removed, that's permanent. Your address goes on a suppression list that every future send checks first, and it never comes off automatically.
To opt out or ask a question about this, email hello@polymade.com.au.
Where your data lives
Customer records, job status, and usage data are stored in a managed database, and generated pack files in secure object storage. We maintain regular backups to guard against data loss, and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures (including access controls and least-privilege credentials) to protect your data. As with any online service, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
- Active subscriber data is kept for as long as your subscription is active, plus a reasonable period after for accounting and dispute-handling purposes.
- Free-pack requests are recorded against your email indefinitely, because the free pack is limited to one per email address and we need that record to enforce it.
- You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time by emailing hello@polymade.com.au. We'll delete what we can, except records we're required to keep for tax/accounting purposes (e.g. GST records tied to payments processed through Stripe).
Your rights
We handle your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or raise a complaint. Start by emailing hello@polymade.com.au. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the service evolves. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
